Help your child, grandchild, or niece/nephew get started by opening a  DVFCU account. Children ages 12 and under who live in central Contra Costa county* are eligible to join DVFCU through the $25 First Share Program. Diablo Valley Federal Credit Union will deposit the first $25** into the account.

Teach your child the importance of saving on a regular basis. Help your child set small goals for savings and spending. Put part of the money he or she might receive for his/her birthday, holiday or allowance into their DVFCU savings account.
